Go Bears!!!!!!!!!!

Recently a lot of my posts have been about Fall which just so happens to be my favorite time of year, the cooler weather is always a plus after our long hot summers in the kitchen but also it's the beginning of the holiday season which is always a celebratory time of year here at Farina's. One of the most important things for me this time of year is that sports season also begins, I am a die hard Detroit Lions and Wings fan so I love that 5 out of 7 days a week you can find sports on T.V. this reminds me that not only are professional sports underway but also that the Berkley High sports season has begun! As a Berkley Alumni I have a deep love for all things Bears (except the ones that reside in Chicago!!!) Farina's is located very close to Hurley Field and on Friday evenings you can hear the familiar sounds of the fans cheering as our bears make a drive down the field. When I was in school this was the time of year were weekdays were spent with my head under water racing back and forth across the pool trying to beat my best time and weekends I was in the stands bundled up cheering on our team. I am no longer a regular at these events but in my heart I will always be a BEAR!!! To all the Berkley sports teams that are working hard this season good luck and have a great year!!!!
